I write content for our clients’ blogs to attract interest and boost their search engine ranking.
Clients choose a topic, which I then research and write a post about, being sure to include the right keywords for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I also some of the other content on clients’ websites.
When did you first become interested in writing?
I always thought I was a good writer in college (narrator: “He wasn’t”), but I still tried to improve afterwards, because writing well is always better than writing poorly.
I found out I wanted to write professionally shortly after college, when I wrote articles for a friend’s website, and was soon assigned to edit other contributors’ pieces as well.
Over the next few years I edited many things for friends, including grad school papers, fiction, petition letters, and application essays.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I’m also the locally designated friend-with-a-pickup-truck, so I haul stuff when people need me to.
