SEO, Social Media, & Marketing – Oh My!
I first started out working with Elegant Peak as a Social Media Intern during the summer before my Junior year of college. I helped to create our professional Social Media Strategy Process which includes assessing the needs of each client’s page, outlining unique monthly social media calendars, content creation, and the most important part – publishing.
Soon after graduating with my Bachelor’s Degree, I stepped into the roles of Content Writing and SEO Specialist. So, in addition to the Social Media, I help our clients achieve first page rankings on Google through highly personalized SEO techniques and campaigns. This includes managing Google Business Listings, writing website content that is optimized for the best SEO results, and taking the time to put together strategic campaigns to help boost rankings on search engines!
When did you first become interested in your position?
Ever since I was a child, I have always had a strong interest in putting my imagination into action. Whether it was using cardboard boxes to build something, writing short stories, or designing things in Adobe, I have always been interested in the creative aspect of life. As I grew older, this naturally influenced my interest in the position I currently have now, as it’s another way to put that creativity into action.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I’m actually very social and love to be around people. So, when I’m not working, you can most likely find me heading out to do something with my friends. It doesn’t matter what the activity is – from simply enjoying a conversation, playing board games, or going on a trip of some sort – I’ll have a good time!
I’m also a big baseball fan. Growing up in Maryland, we like to claim both the Nationals and Orioles, so it’s double the fun during baseball season! My family loves getting together to watch games both on the TV and at the stadiums. And even have our post-season brackets going on even when our favorite teams don’t make it! (Winner gets to pick the Thanksgiving ice cream flavor, of course)
What is your favorite quote fact about yourself?
It’s hard to name just one quote, but this one has stuck with me since high school, so it’s always my go to ‘favorite quote’ –

Fun Fact: I have been to more foreign countries than US states.
